I had a lot of fun putting this values statement together for How About This? Group. The whole brief felt like an invitation to go a bit wild with colour, personality, and that slightly irreverent humour the brand leans into. I wanted each value to feel like its own little scene, so the frames, colours, and typography all shift just enough to give each section its own voice while still fitting comfortably inside the same visual “universe.” The characters and props – flamingos, toucans, sloths, studio lights – let me inject a bit of mischief without distracting from the copy. The goal was always clarity first, but delivered with a wink.
At the same time, there was a lot of careful balancing going on behind the scenes. The palette is deliberately loud but controlled, with enough contrast to keep everything readable. The layouts are playful but structured so your eye knows where to travel next. Even the small touches – the underlines, the offset borders, the little motion-hinting zig-zags – were chosen to reinforce that “creative-but-professional” tone. It’s one of those pieces where the brand’s energy does half the work for you; I just had to shape it into something that feels confident, joyful, and unmistakably “How About This?”
